Grace got married!!! A pretty bride in a polka dot dress and a fab crystal ombre bow -

We met Grace last year , and what a fabulous bride she was, we had many laughs and giggles, and some happy tears. What a joy it was to meet her and her family and friends at the fittings, We are so chuffed for her and Ed, Congratulations!! You Rock!!

I found my “Wedding Godmothers” through a very well-known wedding blog at one of the lowest points in the wedding planning. Any bride struggling to find the “perfect” dress will know how hard and upsetting it is when you just can’t find it anywhere.

I knew what I wanted my wedding dress to look like, I had an image of the neckline, length and style. I had tried an awful lot of dresses on as well as shedding more tears than I care to think about now. Then I saw a wedding on the blogs and the bride was wearing this incredible dress that had been made by The Couture Company, fully bespoke and totally amazing, and like a light bulb going off in my head I knew I had to see them!

Jo and her team we fantastic from the start, I felt so comfortable and relaxed with them from the second I walked in, I knew I would be leaving the shop with my dress sorted. We talked through my ideas and style and I tried a few of their dresses on, Jo brought out all kinds of fabric for me to consider and give ideas and styles I had never thought about. For the first time since I started trying dresses on I felt great! Just as I thought I had decided on “the dress” I saw a sketch the dress I had imaged in their workshop and couldn’t believe how perfect it was.

Because Jo and her team make each and every dress from scratch themselves the process of design and styling is so fluid and allowed me to make minor changes as we went, from embroidering “GRED” and our wedding date into the underskirt, to an ombre bow at the back (which I am completely in love with!) giving me the perfect most incredible dress which my imagination could never have thought up on its own.

Jo and her team as so supportive, honest and unbelievably knowledgeable about everything wedding, if I was struggling with anything to do with the wedding, stockists or ideas I always spoke to them about it in my consultations and came out with everything solved and clear.

No one can prepare you for the emotions, stress and worry you will face when planning a wedding, but to have someone like the Couture Company there with me through made it so much easier. I cannot recommend Jo and the team enough, not just because of their super talented hands and minds, but because they are there 100% for each and every bride, and there is no better feeling than that….well except for wearing one of their dresses!

I cannot thank The Couture Company enough for what they gave to me and my husband. Who said that he thought he had a clear idea of what my dress would be like, on our wedding day he told me that nothing could have prepared him for how beautifully perfect it would be!
