When my best friend Karl announced at Glastonbury, whilst waching Cold Play ” I’ve done it!!! I turned round to see Kate crying and Karl looking like the biggest grinning idiot I have ever seen in my life …”Done what ” half knowing what he meant, but not wanting to shout ” Congratulations” in case he hadn’t asked Kate to marry him, and he meant ” I’ve done it as in I’ve done all the vodka in!!”and Kate was inconsolably crying because it was a half hour round trip to the bar!…” Karl ” I shouted over ‘Fix You’ “You need to tell me in complete words what exactly you have done???”” (I had to be sure he had actually done it). ” I’ve asked Kate to marry me!!!” he beamed…. well that was it we all cried, that is one of the happiest moments of my life….seeing my best pal of 25 years at the best moment of his life!!!! Happy days
So Fast forward 2 years and we were at The Shireburn Arms near Clitheroe all ready for the wedding of the decade, I was honoured to be asked to be Best Man/woman and doubly honoured that Kate wanted me to make her wedding gown!!!
We had the best day!! I hope I did a great speech (phew!!) and no body wanted it to end (the day that is not my speech!!), it was Epic seeing all our friends all together in the same room , all happy all smiling and all so so proud of Karl and his beautiful bride Kate

“Having a custom made wedding dress was something I thought I could only ever dream of so I was over the moon when it became a reality!
Joanne and her team designed and made my dream dress, it was perfect and just my style.
I had some ideas of what I wanted and after my first consultation Jo I knew it was going to be amazing. I loved trying on the sample dresses, it was really useful and helped me loads in deciding on a final design. One of my most memorable moments from our big day was seeing Karl’s face as I walked down the aisle he was beaming from ear to ear. I felt fantastic and it helped to make our wedding day the best day of our lives.
